2020 Student Ambassador Application

The Student Ambassador Program is designed for confident, creative and enthusiastic students who want to champion men’s health by raising funds and sparking conversations on campus. Successful applicants will be tasked with leading a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign on their campus to help fund Movember’s men’s health initiatives. This will involve recruiting fellow students and student organizations to the Movember movement, hosting various fundraising events across campus and spreading awareness for our three cause areas: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health & suicide prevention. Student Ambassadors will gain valuable skills in entrepreneurship, social impact and grassroot marketing to help prepare them for their professional career.
If selected, you will receive online training on Movember’s men’s health causes, a fundraising promo kit, social media content and a dedicated Movember staff member to help you on your Mo journey. Additionally, all ambassadors will receive references from the Movember Foundation.
The ambassador role runs from July 2020 – May 2021, but the bulk of student involvement will be from September to December.

August: Establish Movember committee & begin planning events
September - October: Continue event planning and launch campus promotion
November: Execute events, fundraise, and have fun while seeing those moustaches grow
December: Wrap up final donations and celebrate!
April: Testicular Cancer Awareness Month
